The Current Situation of International Talent Cultivation in Japanese Higher Education

本研究旨在進行日本高等教育國際人才培育模式之現況探究。首先，訪談日本的文部科學省與各大學國際部重要職員，並請海外交流的日本大學生填寫問卷，以進行質性與量化資料分析。本研究訪談的研究工具是半結構式訪談大綱，問卷調查的研究工具是「日本高等教育國際人才培育現況問卷」。訪談對象是文部科學省與有辦理國際人才培育計畫之7所大學，問卷填答人是海外留學的234位日本大學生，委託訪談學校進行問卷發送，並以描述分析、平均數差異分析進行考驗分析。最後，合併訪談調查與問卷調查等調查結果，提出諸項建議作為台灣推動國際人才培育的參考依據。

This study aimed to explore the current situation of international talent cultivation in Japanese higher education. Interview of the principal officials in Japan’s MEXT and some universities as well as questionnaire survey of Japanese abroad students were both implemented. This study made the interviews by the semi-structured interview outline and the questionnaire survey by “Japan International Talent Cultivation Questionnaire”. MEXT and the seven universities joining in Japnan international talent cultivation programs were the main interview objectives, and questionnaire respondents were the 234 Japanese students to study abroad. The formal surveys were analyzed by descriptive analysis and average difference. The study findings of interviews and questionnaires were combined to propose some recommendations for Taiwan’s government and universities.
