Developmental Research on the Instructional Application Strategies of Interactive Media

The application of interactive media in domestic primary and secondary classrooms has been quite popular， but it still remains as a critical issue to integrate the interactive media with teaching practice. The current research on this issue has reached a bottleneck. This study investigated the application of interactive whiteboards as the typical representative of interactive media. Based on systemic literature review on studies about the instructional application of interactive whiteboard from 2006 to 2015 in and out of China， we conducted classroom observations and content analysis， and summarized teachers’ relevant strategies when applying interactive media to teaching and the current problems in the process of application. Based on our research， we predicted the developmental trend of interactive teaching media in schools， and put forward five application strategies of interactive media. The strategies involve proactive applications， interactive applications， application with research and study， application with a systemic approach， and application based on “Internet +”.
