A Key-Competency Oriented ICT Curriculum: Data and Computing Module

The new ICT Curriculum Standard included required courses， elective courses 1 and elective courses 2.Data and Computing is one module of required courses， which is basic content of ICT. According to ICT Key-Competency， Data and computing module were made of three parts which are data and information， data processing， and Algorithm and program. During this module’s Standards revised， the revisers constructed core-concept， designed ICT tools for problem-solving， and described the content standers. According to curriculum implementation， they provided some advice for effective teaching to improve students’ Key-Competency.
