英文摘要 | According to different academic context and research orientation, there are four representative research approaches to faculty development: intellectual, academic career, academic system, and survival state. The diachronic development of the four approaches, each one of which peaked at different times, has been consistent with the evolution of higher education from the ivory tower to fulfilling social functions. Combined with the specific national conditions and the characteristics of the times, in the context of China's academic institutional change, the research approach of academic system should become an important direction in faculty development research in the future. |
