中文摘要 | 如何调动学生的英语学习兴趣并通过精读课有效提高学生的英语水平是许多大学英语教师关心的问题。笔者曾经将教学重点放在提高课堂趣味性上,过度追求课堂内容的新奇而忽视了教学的有效性。在参加了教师-研究者互动发展团队的项目后,笔者意识到有趣的教学并不一定会转化为有效的教学,因此对自己的教学方法进行了相应的改进,从追求新奇回归到对基础训练的重视,并取得了一定的效果。 |
英文摘要 | How to spur students' enthusiasm in English learning and to improve students' language competence through the intensive English reading course is an issue that concerns most college English teachers. To address this problem the author tried to maximize the interest of the course. However, the pursuit of interest claimed so much of the author's attention that the effectiveness of classroom teaching was sidelined. After joining the action research project of a teacher-researcher community, the author realized that interest does not necessarily translate into effectiveness. Therefore, the author has changed her way of teaching and her focus has shifted to the training of basic skills. This change has produced intended results in students. |
