The Evaluation of Ph. D Training Quality: Concepts, Methods and Standpoints

博士質量評價是博士教育研究中探討得比較少的問題。本文首先區分了博士教育質量、博士點質量、博士質量這三個互相聯繫但又有所區別的概念，指出博士質量的內涵包括培養質量和發展質量。其次，文章討論了從微觀層次和宏觀層次評價博士培養質量的主要方法──同行評價法和文獻計量法。最後，文章從國內外的教育實踐出發，分析了當前評價博士質量的兩種視角──產品視角和質量視角及其問題。

There is very little literature about the quality evaluation of Ph. D. This paper clarifies the distinction between three relevant conceptions: the quality of doctoral education， the quality of doctoral program and the quality of Ph. D.; discusses the different methods of the quality evaluation of doctoral education from the macro and micro level and finally points out two perspectives of evaluating quality of doctoral education: the product-based and the process-based.
