核心概念的研究是国际上理科教育中的一个重要领域，我国的部分中学课程标准也提出要帮助学生深入理解学科的核心概念。如何更好的理解和实践新课程的要求，是我们面临的一个挑战。本文阐述了核心概念是什幺，核心概念的表述，核心概念在课堂教学中的地位，还就核心概念的课堂教学进行了讨论，提出了建议。

The study of key concepts is an important area in international science education. Some of the curriculum standards for high schools in China also contain the idea to help students to get deep understanding of the key concepts of the subjects. How to get a better understanding of the requirements of the new curriculum and how to implement them effectively are the challenges that we face. This paper sets forth what the key concepts are， the statement of the key concepts and their role in the classroom instruction. What’s more， it discusses the classroom instruction of key concepts and makes some suggestions.
