英文摘要 | “Learn to be an Excellent Teacher; Act as an Exemplary Person” is BNU’s motto. The fundamental reason why it has huge influence and great vitality in the modern society is that the motto has been rooted in the fertile soil of Chinese traditional education and absorbed great nourishment during past 2,500 years. Learning and behaving, as the spirit of BNU’s school motto, is the kernel of traditional teacher’s morality. The tradition of “Learn to be an Excellent Teacher; Act as an Exemplary Person” was established by the great sage, Confucius, then was pursued and practiced by teachers from generation to generation and also been kept watch and looked forwarded to by the whole society. |
