An Economic Analysis of Network Education

网络教育是一种全新的教育方式，它以自身的特点和优势在全球范围内得到迅速发展。教育理论界对网络教育的诸多方面给予了高度关注，但这些研究都未能以专题方式涉及网络教育的经济性能分析，更缺乏深入探讨。从经济学的视野审视和研究网络教育，不仅是网络教育研究的自身需求，也是经济学特别是教育经济学学科发展之需求。我们主要从成本和效率两个维度，对网络教育进行经济学的理论分析，并说明发展网络教育是我国大力推进教育信息化、实现教育事业跨越性发展最有效最现实的选择。

Although network education as a new type of education in the information age has drawn much attention from the academic world， people pay little attention to its economic aspects. The article points out that economic analysis of network is a necessary theoretical preparation for guiding the operation of network education industry and improving the research of network education. Based on such a viewpoint， the author analyses the economic meaning and potential benefit of network from a cost-efficiency perspective and makes it clear that developing network education is important for promoting educational information project and realizing the leaping development of education most effectively and realistically.
