Co-creation Space : the Case Analysis of “Design Factory” Model of Innovative Education in Colleges and Universities —Taking Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand as an Example
Promoting and developing innovative education is the true meaning and direction of the development of colleges and universities. The “design factory” is a co-creation space where interdisciplinary teams of students work with industry partners to solve complex problems， is an effective mode to carry out innovative education in colleges and universities， the design factory global network gradually formed， the design factory activity have spread across five continents in universities or research institutions. The design factory of Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand is a member of the design factory global network， the Institute carries out innovative education on the platform of “design factory”， focus on the integration of interdisciplinary students’ team， the deep participation of the enterprise and the strong support of the government， build a co-creation space of multi subject participation of university， enterprise， community， government and so on， form a good innovation education ecological system of “problem， method， skill， practice， culture” five in one， the “design factory” model gives our country good reference to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship education.
