英文摘要 | A smart classroom is a kind of physical and information space which is equipped with a wide variety of modern media technologies for teaching and learning. In the smart classroom, optimizing instruction is always expected by using the media technology. To reveal the real roles of these media technologies in instruction, a new method on instructional application of media technology is required which is grounded on the analysis of information flows. In this paper, the applicability of media technology products in collaborative learning is discussed with the help of IIS map analysis method. It shows that: 1. The functional applicability of the media products is of situated; 2. The actual effect of media technology in instruction mainly relies on the information presentation and learning support; 3. The interaction level of collaborative learning cannot always be improved as expected by using media technology. This paper, as to the design, development and selection of smart classroom function, holds that: 1. The functional design of the smart classroom should contain the hardware configuration, spatial design, which is the periphery, resource allocation and instructional functions, which are the cores. 2. The needs of media products can be clarified basing on the instructional plan and instructional difficulties; 3. We advocate to develop functional modules meeting those needs, and to configure personalized smart classroom; 4. Whence selecting media, its information presentation and instructional interactive functions should be considered firstly rather than its hardware; 5. Selecting media should be made to meet the instructional demands, paying attention to the comfortable and the practical, not just to the expensive and the trendy; 6. Whether the function of smart classroom is high or low depends on its practical usability, and upgrading the function should be grounded on instructional practice. This study has a reference value for people to conceive the role of instructional media technology correctly and collocate of smart classroom functions reasonably. |
