A Study on the Christa McAuliffe Excellence in Teacher Education Award

In 2002，American Association of State Colleges and University set up the Christa McAuliffe Excellence in Teacher Education Award. From 2002 to 2014，25 universities have won the award. These universities show some characteristics including from competition to excellence，education based on the practical needs，cooperative cultivation in the process，paying more attention to the quantitative trace and evaluation of the result. Our country just started the pre-service training project of excellent teacher in 2014. In order to ensure the real high quality of the project，it should make efforts on the annual quality report of excellent teacher pre-service training，cooperation cultivation，high standards and strict requirements for the training，schools and others.
