The Development of Internationalization of Higher Education in Kazakhstan

With the development of global economic integration，internationalization of higher education has been strengthened worldwide. In order to comply with the requirements of the times，Kazakhstan joined the Bologna Process in March 2010，and implemented a series of reforms to promote the sector of internationalization of higher education. Kazakhstan has issued“the 2007 Education Act”，“the National Education Development Program in 2011~2020”and “the 2005~2010 Kazakhstan National Education Development Plan”and other important regulations and policies. These are to actively carry out international cooperation in running schools，set up a government scholarship to participate in the European Union Tempus Project and Erasmus Mundus，and actively promote exchanges and cooperation with China’s higher education. At present，the process of internationalization and higher education faces the problems of finance，quality， talent training，the brain drain and education informatization，etc.
