英文摘要 | Since it signed the Bologna Declaration in 2001,Turkey has started a process of educational reforms to improve Turkish higher education. This paper explores Turkish strategies on internationalization which include promoting student and staff mobility,being involved in international exchange programs,enhancing international cooperation in curriculum,research,and in running schools. It concludes that quality is still the key to strengthen internationalization. To achieve the goal of world's 10th largest economy,Turkey needs to work hard on the following aspects:to empower the university with more responsibilities for quality,increase the proportion of instruction taught in English,improve quality assurance system,and build world-class universities to contribute to national economic development strategy. |
