英文摘要 | This study is aiming at exploring the educational technologies access, usage, and effect, as well as providing suggestions for Chinese rural schools, based on Knowledge Gap Theory. Using field observation, in-depth interview and questionnaire survey, this paper analyzed the access gap, usage gap, and knowledge gap of Shen Guo primary school, a typical elementary school in rural China. It found that technology access is not the limitation at present. However, the most serious problems lie in the limited using rate, unwillingness and incapability of educational technology use. This paper suggested that future rural education should pay more attention on developing mobile smart education media, constructing interactive and topical course materials, fostering motivations and abilities on new media for rural teachers and students, setting up precision assessment and dynamic mechanism of education informationalization via big data, and creating new media atmosphere in the whole social and cultural contexts. |
