英文摘要 | The major problems in college English teaching include the lack of interest, unclear objectives, monotonous teaching methods and outdated learning resources. Those problems are major hurdles confronting college English teaching reform. As a network-based open teaching resource, MOOC has been favored by many learners in recent years. Under the background of college English teaching reform, this paper points out that MOOC can enrich the teaching and learning resources, promote online and mobile classrooms in college English teaching reform, and it also plays the role of interest development and innovation. This study applies the method of empirical analysis to the effectiveness of MOOC application. The results of analysis of variance showed in the context of the level under 0.05, the value F of overall English learning effectiveness, language knowledge dimension, language skill dimension, attitude dimension and learning strategy dimension are respectively and significantly higher than those at the critical level of 3.94. This is to show that in the experimental group which adopted MOOC teaching, compared with the traditional-teaching group, the overall effectiveness of English learning and five sub-dimensional learning effects have been significantly improved, and it also confirms the study of the proposed MOOC resources is a valid college English learning tool. |
