英文摘要 | The High School Information Technology(IT) Education Standard under amendment specified four key elements of the core literacy, which are Information Awareness, Computational Thinking, Digital Learning and Innovation, and Information Social Responsibility. This essay set out to understand the core literacy in high school IT education and to provide a workable guidance on enhancing students’ core literacy through teaching practices. The essay discussed the following topics and proposed some feasible solutions accordingly: How to raise students’ information awareness; how to elevate the ability to identify and resolve information; how to prompt computational thinking; and, emphasizing on social responsibility, how to establish a sense of duty in the information society. Through a number of real-world case studies, by utilizing appropriate teaching methods, selecting engaging teaching materials, and encouraging students’ active participation, this essay proves, there are systematical ways to develop core literacy in high school IT education. |
