The New ICT Curriculum Standard on Chinese High School: Rationale and Contents

With the ICT development， there are great changes on the ICT Curriculum. During the ICT Curriculum Standards revised， the revisers paid more attention on “digital civilization” background and transformed the ICT education development from “information literacy” to “digital competence”. After analyzed the ICT subject’s key competences and big ideas， the revisers constructed the curriculum frame， made the courses’ modules， and described the content standers. According to curriculum implementation， they provided some advice on teaching methods， learning evaluation and teacher training.
