Quality Tree: A New Method of Ongoing Monitoring on Higher Education

全面常态质量监测是高等教育监测评估的一个重要方向，文章在监测评估方法分析框架基础上，从系统、主体、职能、面向四个视角建立监测评估指标体系概念框架。将本科教学状态数据库、大学生学习发展追踪调查等高等教育研究工具集成于概念框架内，从中筛选出符合要求的核心指标集成为指标体系，绘制监测评估新方法质量树。质量树实现了监测评估动态性、全面性、扩展性、数据计算、生动呈现、反映状态、可操作性和用户导向等特点。依据监测评估动态监测、常态预警、发展呈现、趋势预测、深入分析等功能，文章探究了状态树、警情树、发展树、预测树、相关树、回归树等质量树方法体系演化原理。

Comprehensive quality monitoring is an important part of ongoing monitoring on higher education． On the basis of a framework for ongoing monitoring analysis，this study constructs a conceptual framework for an ongoing monitoring index system from four perspectives: system，subject，function，and orientation． To develop an ongoing monitoring method，we integrate some higher educational research tools into the conceptual framework，including the undergraduate teaching and learning status database and the Chinese College Student Survey，and select suitable core indicators from them to build an ongoing monitoring index system． We present the index system in the form of a tree，named quality tree． The quality tree has ongoing monitoring characteristics such as dynamics，comprehensiveness，extendibility，analyzability，vivid reflection，and user orientation． Based on ongoing monitoring functions，including monitoring，warning，continuous collection，forecasting，and analyzing，the paper explores the mechanism for transforming the quality tree into a status tree，alarm tree，development tree，forecast tree，correlation tree，and regression tree．
