英文摘要 | With the emergence and development of community colleges from the end of the Second World War to 1980s, the credit transfer system also underwent rapid development in the US higher education. In the context of the establishment of a learning society and implementation of the concept of lifelong education, education has the tendency of being more and more close to the general public. Meanwhile, learners are increasingly concerned about the equality of educational opportunities, learning effectiveness and recognized learning outcomes. The present paper focuses on the credit transfer system in three US public universities in order to analyze the new features of modern American higher education in the process of adapting to social needs and meeting the learners’unique demands. It also intends to explore the possibilities of implementing flexible learning systemin Chinese adult higher education. |
