英文摘要 | The initiation and implementation of Australia's Professional Standards for Accomplished Teaching of Languages and Cultures mainly gives us implications with four points. Firstly, school language education should keep in line with the national strategic development plan; secondly, professional standards for language teachers should embody the essence of the profession and reflect its characteristics; thirdly, an emphasis should be given to the high levels of achievement of accomplished teachers of languages and teachers' professional development; and finally, sufficient consultations before the finalization of a set of standards and post-promulgation workshops are necessary. These implications can be a useful frame of reference for making of national standards for teachers of foreign languages in elementary and secondary
schools in China. |
