英文摘要 | This study explored the definitions and intentions of VUCA 1.0 and VUCA 2.0. Subsequently, based on insights from these explorations, four key implications are proposed: (1) proactive actions– from merely responding to external challenges to proactively addressing them; (2) overcoming limitations through vision and flexible, adaptable strategies; (3) leaders must be able to empathize, adapt to change, and take action; and (4) effective decision making is an indispensable core competency for an organization when facing change. Lastly, five recommendations are provided for the leadership of elementary and secondary school principals: (1) Principals should be sensitive to changes in the external environment and forward-thinking to overcome existing limitations. (2) Principals should ensure that the quality of education continues to grow steadily, regardless of changes in the external environment. (3) Principals should demonstrate the power of vision-driven leadership, guiding school members in developing a new chapter and practicing ideals. (4) Principals should demonstrate empathetic and humble leadership, building a sense of trust and boosting work morale within the school. (5) Principals should emphasize evidence-based decision-making, avoiding reliance solely on the weight of experience when making decisions. Finally, conclusions are offered at the end of the paper. |
