護理人員性健康照護自我效能相關因素之探討

Exploring the Related Factors on the Self-Efficacy for Sexual Healthcare among Nurses

目的:探討護理人員性健康照護自我效能之相關因素及其重要因子。

方法: 採橫斷性研究，以立意取樣選取北部某區域教學醫院工作年資滿一年以上護理人員共209位研究對象，以自填式問卷調查進行社會人口學變項、性健康照護知識、性健康照護態度、性健康照護自我效能及性健康照護困擾資料收集。

結果:護理人員有宗教信仰、沒有被性騷擾經驗以及有提供性諮詢與性衛教經驗者，其性健康照護自我效能較高。性健康照護態度與性健康照護自我效能呈現正相關。性健康照護自我效能之重要因子為性健康照護態度、沒有被性騷擾經驗、有提供病患性諮詢/性衛教經驗、有宗教信仰。

結論與建議:本研究發現影響性健康照護自我效能最重要的因子為性健康照護態度。因此，護理教育與在職教育應重視性健康照護態度的培養，建議可加入性健康照護培訓課程，增加案例分析與演練、處理性健康問題的經驗分享，以培養正向之性健康照護態度，進而提升性健康照護自我效能。

 

Objective: This study investigates the related and important factors to self-efficacy in sexual healthcare among nurses.

Methodology: We conducted a cross-sectional study targeting nurses with over one year of experience at a teaching hospital in northern Taiwan. A total of 209 individuals participated by completing a self-administered questionnaire, which collected data on socio-demographic variables, knowledge of sexual healthcare, attitudes toward sexual healthcare, self-efficacy in sexual healthcare, and challenges in providing sexual healthcare.

Results: Nurses who reported that having religious beliefs, not having experienced sexual harassment, and having experience in providing sex counseling or sex education demonstrated higher levels of self-efficacy in sexual healthcare. Furthermore, a significant positive correlation was found between attitudes toward sexual healthcare and self-efficacy in this area. The main factors influencing self-efficacy in sexual healthcare included attitudes toward sexual healthcare, having not experiencing sexual harassment, having experience in providing sex counseling and sex education to patients, and having religious beliefs.

Conclusion and Recommendations: This study found that attitudes toward sexual healthcare significantly impact self-efficacy. It suggests that nursing education and on-the-job training should emphasize the development of positive attitudes toward sexual healthcare. Recommendations include participating in sexual healthcare training courses, increasing case analyses and practical drills, and sharing experiences related to managing patients’ sexual health issues. These strategies aim to foster positive attitudes and enhance self-efficacy in sexual healthcare.
