道德教育與和平教育之交會：以Nussbaum論述省思臺灣課程實踐

The Nexus of Moral and Peace Education: Rethinking Taiwan’s Curriculum Through Nussbaum’s Notion

本文以Martha Nussbaum的世界主義思想及其「同心圓」隱喻為理論視角，探討臺灣道德教育與和平教育之間的關係。針對道德教育之焦點日益擴張且漸趨模糊，以及臺灣和平教育侷限於「消極和平」概念的歷史背景，本文提出「道德—和平連結」（moral-peace nexus）之概念性論述，以作為推動課程轉化的重要基礎。同心圓之隱喻提供一項理論框架，使和平得以透過道德實踐加以協商，而道德則被定位為促進和平的規範性基礎。在此基礎上，本文進一步提出對臺灣教育情境之課程與教學意涵，強調以轉化性的道德學習作為整合道德與和平教育的重要途徑。最後，本文以全球視野反思教育作為和平建構之道德使命，期能為不同文化與社會提供具啟發性的教育想像與實踐方向。

This study examined the link between moral and peace education in Taiwan through Nussbaum’s notion of ethical cosmopolitanism and the metaphor of concentric circles of morality. Addressing the expanding and increasingly blurred focus in Taiwan of moral education and its historical limitation of peace education to definitions of negative peace, this study proposed a“moral–peace nexus”to reorient peace and moral education in Taiwanese schools. Nussbaum’s notion offers a theoretical framework in which peace may be negotiated through morality, with morality positioned as the normative foundation of peacemaking. This study subsequently outlined instructional and curricular implications for Taiwan’s educational context, before concluding with globally relevant reflections on reimagining education as a moral vocation for peacebuilding.
