英文摘要 | This study analyses the University of California admission policy concerning the student transferred from the Californian community colleges. The admission policies involve educational ideas, California Education Code, course agreement articulation system, service, admission criteria, and student achievement. The findings show that these policies meet the community college’s missions, and ensure that the University of California provides enough opportunities for qualified community college transfers. The policies also reflect the educational idea about services for the students should become one of many responsibilities of higher education institutions. The admission criteria involve the courses the applicants complete in community colleges, average grade point(GPA) and also a comprehensive review of other achievement concerning both excellence and equality. |
