英文摘要 | Based on an analysis of the historical background and annual policies of Independent Admission Program, we have found that the dire need of creative talents is one significant driving force of this Program. Therefore, whether students enrolled through this Program are of creative potential can be used as an indicator to evaluate its effectiveness. An empirical study of the status of independently-enrolled students' creativity in one University has revealed that compared with regularly -enrolled students, the overall level of creativity of independently -enrolled ones is slightly higher. But in terms of creative qualities, creative skills and creative achievements, there is great room for improvement. Deep -rooted causes can be found both in the process of recruitment and cultivation, such as a lack of deep understanding of "creativity", no scientific evaluation methods, and insufficient organizational and institutional support and guidance. |
