| 中文摘要 | 本研究結合文獻計量與質性內容分析,探討2013年至2024年間高等教育研究的全球分布、主題發展趨勢與意識型態格局,資料來源為11本國際領先學術期刊之論文。國家層級分析顯示,美國、英國與澳洲持續在該領域保持主導地位,中國的發表量雖有增長,但主要集中於少數菁英院校,尤其是香港大學與香港教育大學,並在高等教育政策與領導議題上對國際研究做出重要貢獻。透過Keywords Plus共現分析與Walktrap社群偵測演算法,主題地圖呈現四類主題:一、核心主題(如學習者經驗、感知與表現)在高中心性與高密度象限,推動理論與實務發展;二、基礎主題(如高等教育體系與政策架構)連結多元領域;三、利基主題(如升學選擇、入學可及性)雖專精但較孤立;四、新興或衰退主題(如種族、多樣性與公平)則處於邊緣且發展不均,與整體研究網絡的整合度有限;另有一個中介主題「知識—大學—管理」連結治理、政策與學術實務。 依據Macfarlane意識型態地景的補充分析顯示,實務主義半島仍占主導地位,改革派岩層與反烏托邦隱退地帶有成長趨勢,而方法論之島與行動主義環礁則維持邊緣與事件驅動特徵。儘管主題日益多元化,結構性分隔依然存在,顯示全球高等教育研究兼具適應性與碎片化特質。 |
| 英文摘要 | This study integrates bibliometric mapping and qualitative content analysis to examine global, thematic, and ideological patterns in higher education research from 2013 to 2024, based on articles from eleven leading international journals. Country-level analysis shows continued dominance of the United States. Mainland China has increased its publication output, but production is heavily concentrated in a few elite institutions, most prominently the University of Hong Kong and the Education University of Hong Kong. Research from these hubs has contributed significantly to international discourse on higher education policy and leadership. Using Keywords Plus co occurrence and the Walktrap community detection algorithm, a thematic map identified four theme types. Motor Themes, such as learner experiences, perceptions, and performance, hold high centrality and density, driving both theory and practice. Basic Themes, including higher education systems and policy frameworks, link diverse domains. Niche Themes, such as college choice, access, and opportunity, are specialized but isolated. Emerging or Declining Themes, notably race, diversity, and equity, remain peripheral with uneven development, showing only limited integration into the broader research network. An intermediate theme, knowledge-universities-management, bridges governance, policy, and academic practice. Complementary analysis applying Macfarlane’s ideological seascape revealed persistent dominance of the Pragmatists Peninsula, growth in Reformists Rock and Dystopians Retreat, and continued marginality of Isla Methodology and Activists Atoll. Despite diversification, structural divides persist, underscoring both the adaptive capacity and fragmentation of global higher education scholarship. |
