中文摘要 | 新型冠狀病毒疫情影響下,國內外大學紛紛啟動「緊急遠距教學」(Emergency Remote Teaching, ERT),不僅對教師和學生帶來影響,也讓各大學的教學發展單位面臨雙重挑戰。當後疫情時代教與學內涵已從量變產生質變時,大學教師教學專業發展一方面需突破原有框架與時俱進,另一方面需思考後疫情時代教師教學發展策略與方向。觀察ERT時期,國內外教學發展相關單位做法和建議,並參考本校自身經驗,本文從大學教師教學發展主題、大學教師個人教學專業發展及教學發展單位本身的革新三方面進行討論,希望以ERT情境下之推進發展、累積經驗、執行成效為基石,為大學教師教學專業發展的下一步提供建議。 |
英文摘要 | Under the impact of Covid-19, universities around the world initiated emergency remote teaching (ERT) for continuous teaching and learning. The chaos the pandemic caused to education brought dual challenges to faculty professional development in the university. While preparing teachers for the changing world, center for teaching and learning development also needs to make changes of their ways to design, deliver, and evaluate faculty professional development. Based on observations of other universities and reflecting on our own experiences during ERT, this paper will discuss faculty professional development from three perspectives: important issues during ERT, teaching development as professional development for faculty, and a developmental change for teaching and learning development centers in the university. Using ERT as a turning point, this paper aims to provide suggestions for future improvements and implementations of faculty professional development. |
