Practice and Theoretical Research of Art Education: Take the “Drawing for Graphic Design” Practice in Visual Culture Creativity as an Example
In recent years, visual art has been established in the fields of design and fashion, which not only stimulated cross-border cooperation between art and commerce, but also integrated cultural products with visual creativity. Therefore, the researcher used the “Drawing for graphic design” course to combine with art curation as the reason to implement the “Fine Art Design and Hand-drawn Refinement Project” university teaching research. In this project, the researcher thoroughly explored the formal principles of “points” and “lines” in painting, and then applied them to the teaching contents. The expected result was to inspire the imagination and creativity of students through the content of art appreciation, and to enhance the aesthetic perception through the exhibition of the results. This article aimed to analyze the artistic theory and teaching effectiveness of the “Drawing for graphic design” course of visual culture. The purposes of the research were as follows: (1) In-depth study of the formal theories of “point” and “line” related to sketching to improve teaching experience; (2) Conduct an art appreciation tutorial for the “Drawing for graphic design” course as to cultivate students’ conscious learning ability and professional ability, while at the same time enrich the research reference of art education practice; (3) Hold an exhibition of students’ teaching achievements inside and outside the university as to create an aesthetic environment through aesthetic education, and enhance the function of art education in the society. In this article, the researcher used three research methods: literature analysis, quality thinking, and survey to elaborate the art theory and conduct survey analysis. In the literature discussion, the researcher thoroughly studied the sketch works and creative ideas of well-known domestic and foreign artists, and guide students to use the elements of “point” and “line” in the creative practice of the “Drawing for graphic design” course. The research hopes to cultivate visual arts talents with creative ability and fine art appreciation.
