中文摘要 | 中層領導在教育領導研究中已成為獨特的研究焦點,許多研究均指出有效能的中層領導是改進學校教與學品質之重要驅動力量。本研究以學校中層領導者為對象,分析其權力觀與課程觀對於課綱變革參與行為意向之影響,以掌握影響中層領導者課程推動動能之重要因素。研究採問卷調查法,以臺灣本島公立國中與公立普通型高中之中層領導者(包含主任、組長、領域/學科召集人三類)為母群體,回收有效問卷623份。重要研究結論有三:一、中層領導者除了在權力距離觀之得分為中標外,分享決定觀、課程觀及課綱變革意向之得分均為中高標。二、不同背景變項中層領導者在各變項之得分,最具系統性差異者乃是職務別,具主任身分的中層領導者在分享決定觀、課程觀及變革行為意向之得分,均顯著高於組長及領域/學科召集人。三、由權力觀透過課程觀影響課綱變革行為意向的中介模式來看,除了課程觀與權力距離觀分別對變革行為意向產生正向與負向的直接效果外,分享決定觀可基於對課程觀的中介作用發揮對變革行為意向之影響,權力距離觀亦可透過對分享決定觀的負向效應,對課程觀及課綱變革行為意向產生非直接的影響。 |
英文摘要 | Middle leadership has become a unique focus of educational leadership research and many studies have indicated that effective middle leadership is the driving force of improving the quality of teaching and learning. This study chose school middle leaders as the subjects and analyzed the effects of their conceptions of power and curriculum on curriculum change behavior intention. The results can have important implications relating to the factors influencing middle leaders’ participation in curriculum reform. A survey design was used as the research approach. A total of 623 effective questionnaires were collected from public junior high and senior high school middle leaders in Taiwan. Three main findings were: 1. Besides the score of power distance which was at middle level, the scores of conception of shared decision making, curriculum, and change behavior intention all reached high-intermediate level. 2. School middle leaders’ background that resulted in systematic difference in scores was their position. Middle leaders who were office directors had significantly higher scores in conception of shared decision making, curriculum, and change behavior intention than the other middle leaders. 3. In the mediation model, conception of power distance and conception of curriculum both had direct effect on change behavior intention. Conceptions of power distance and shared decision making could also facilitate behavior intention through indirect paths. However, while shared decision making and conception of curriculum could facilitate school middle leaders’ behavior intention, the effect of conception of power distance was negative. |
