中文摘要 | 本文嘗試以新歷史研究的角度,就1945年起至今,歷屆的臺北市立教育大學畢業同學錄(或稱畢業紀念冊)中校長贈言為研究對象,詮釋其歷史意義和其所反映的學校教育發展軌跡。研究者發現,世人的思維確實難以超越歷史環境的影響。歷屆畢業同學錄之校長贈言,依學校的發展歷程,每階段呈現不同特色。在篇幅形式上,由長篇大論超過千字的序言,到三、五百字的短文小品,到僅二、三十字的格言佳句。在內容重點上,由強調師範教育精神國防的建國復國使命,到重視教師專業發展與地位,到勉勵個人進德修業和做人處事的態度。整體反映出臺灣師資培育理念因應外在環境的轉變,確實展現出教育制度逐漸脫離國家意識型態灌輸的軌跡,顯現出臺灣社會逐漸步向自由與開放教育精神的歷程。 |
英文摘要 | This study analyzed the prefaces written by Taiwan's president in the senior yearbooks of Taipei Municipal University of Education since 1945, with regard to their historical meanings and the imprint of the school's current stage of development. The researcher found that the developmental process of the school could indeed be seen from these presidents' prefaces. As for format and length, it was found that the prefaces varied in form from articles with more than a thousand words to essays with several hundred words, and to aphorisms of only 20-30 words. The earliest prefaces focused on the mission of the students in this teachers' school that of reconstructing our country; the subjects later shifted to teachers' professional image and personal morality. From this study we can see the transition in the country's thinking about education, and more specifically the process of liberation of our higher education system. There was a gradual breaking away from the ideology of nationalism in Taiwan. That is, the progression toward greater democracy and freedom, including educational freedom and freedom of thought, was represented by the transition undergone by these senior yearbook presidential prefaces. |
