英文摘要 | Since Song Dynasty, scholars have generally insisted that Zhu Xi’s educational thought emphasizes on [Respected Knowledge], and Lu Jiu-yuan emphasizes on [Promoting Virtue]. This misunderstanding is caused by confusing Zhu Xi’s philosophical construction with his educational practice. Zhu Xi’s philosophy is characterized by emphasizing the investigation of objective knowledge, but in his educational thought, he consistently insists the internal unity of knowledge and virtue. |
