英文摘要 | Lucius Annaeus Seneca, the Ancient Roman Writer, is both one of the most prominent representatives of Late Stoicism, and the moral teacher who exerts profound influence on later thinkers. This thesis attempts to analyze one of his masterpieces, Seneca’s Epistulae Morales, of which composed in his late years, aiming to guide youths toward the road of [Summa Bonna]. By revealing the pedagogic purpose of its outer form─Epistolography, and its inner clue─the role played by [friendship] in the moral process of the whole work, this thesis exhibits the unique pedagogic technique of the classic writer. |
