作为文化事实的通识教育—“全国首届文化素质通识教育核心课程讲习班”综述

General Education as a Cultural Enterprise：A Summary of the First “Nation—wide Workshop of General Education and Core Courses”

2007年7月在清华大学举办的“全国首届文化素质通识教育核心课程讲习班”是近年来关于通识教育讨论的理论深化和推广实践。这次讲习班的课程设置将学术思想探讨中对”古今中西之争”的关注贯彻到教育实践中，强调将教育当作文化事业的一部分来思考和发展。讲习班以经典阅读和小班讨论为重点，以核心课程推动对文化经点的理解，引导学员进入对文化实质问题的理解和讨论，从而在更根本上解决教育实践中存在的各种问题。

The first “Nation—wide workshop of general education and core courses” held in Tsinghua University between July， 26th and July， 31st 2007 is a further depending of the discussion about general education in recent years both in theory and in practice. Through its deliberate course arrangement， this workshop introduced the topic of “the ancient—modern and Chinese—Western quarrels” into education practice， with an emphasis that education be regarded and reflected as a part of cultural enterprise. Distinguished by; text—reading and section discussion， the core course program in this workshop is aimed at improving students’ understanding of cultural classics， introducing them into substantial topics in the intellectual discussions and thereby solving the problems in the current education system.
