The Analysis of American University Mainstream Values Education

美国大学主流价值观教育包括公民教育、道德教育和文化价值观教育三个部分，内容表现在以自由平等、民主法制、个人主义为核心的资本主义政治价值观，以爱国主义为核心的民族精神，以创新为核心的时代精神，以节俭勤奋、诚实守信、仁慈博爱为核心的道德观，以及以多元文化主义为核心的文化价值观等许多方面，体现出教育内容隐性化、实施方式多样化、重视社会服务活动和受多元文化主义影响较深的特点。

American university mainstream values education has three parts: civil education， moral education and culture values education. Its contents are as the follows: capitalism political values with the core of freedom and equity， democracy and the rule of law and individualism; national spirit with the core of patriotism; zeitgeist with the core of innovation; moral values with the core of frugality and diligence， honesty and trustworthy， mercy and love; and culture values with the core of multiculturalism. The values education reflects the features of educational contents' invisibility， implementation methods' diversification， focusing on social service activities and being affected by multiculturalism deeply.
