The Approaches of Quality Assurance of Higher Education in Uganda

自20世纪90年代以来，乌干达高等教育在快速扩充中面临着质量保障的挑战。进入21世纪以后，为适应社会的需要和全球化时代的变化，乌干达在国家层面、学校层面着手制定质量保障政策，建立较完整的质量保障框架，同时还以东非大学理事会为平台，通过地区合作，提升本国高等教育质量保障的能力。

Since the 1990s， higher education in Uganda has been confronted with the quality challenges in the process of rapid expansion. Stepping into the 21st century， Uganda has formulated quality assurance policies and created integrated quality assurance frameworks in both national and institutional level to meet the needs of society and the variation in the globalization era. In the meantime， Uganda takes the Inter-University Council for East Africa as the platform of regional cooperation so as to promote its own capacity of quality assurance in higher education.
