英文摘要 | School improvement focuses on instructional change and the supporting conditions needed by improving students' performance. It's a strategic method to enhance the quality of teaching in the time of school change. R. F. Elmore's theory of school improvement aims at instructional improvement, clarifying the ultimate aim of school improvement--the improvement of students' learning, their achievement and development. He illustrates the meaning of instructional improvement profoundly in various aspects. His theory bypasses some ambiguity points of school improvement, various external facts and the general discussion of school organizational culture, pointing directly at the core of school development--the development of students. It deserves our attention in the school reform of our country. |
