Teacher development is one of the most important research areas in educational reform. There are many kinds of postmodernism educational theories in teacher development， which pointed out that empowerment is the key factor in teacher development， narrative research is the new angle to study teacher development， ethic of caring is the important aptitude for teacher， and the personal knowledge is the new constitute of teacher's professional development.
