| 中文摘要 | 諸多高齡相關研究均證實社會參與有助於活躍老化;而實務推動上則發現高齡男性社會參與率普遍偏低。本研究針對歐美推動多年且獲致正向成果的男士工棚(Men’s Shed)進行臺灣版教育方案之行動研究。研究發現,高齡男性參與學習低的現象反應出傳統社會價值觀並具世代差異;在針對高齡男性設計學習方案時,需更細緻地考量性別差異、善用心理因素進行設計;而高齡男性參與方案後的改變主要在「創造人際價值」。最後,依據研究發現提出設計學習方案之相關建議,藉由符合高齡男性學習模式與心理之課程,促進社會參與,達到活躍老化之目的。 |
| 英文摘要 | Research on aging consistently highlights the benefits of social participation in promoting active aging. However, older men exhibit notably low participation rates in social activities. This study employed an action research approach to explore the adaptation of the Men’s Shed program—successfully implemented in Europe and the United States—into a cooking class designed for older men in Taiwan. The findings indicate that low participation rates are influenced by traditional societal values and generational differences. Effective educational programs for elderly men must account for gender differences and psychological factors. Participants primarily experienced changes related to the development of interpersonal value. Based on these findings, the study offers recommendations for designing learning programs that foster social participation and support active aging. |
