Applying Facilitation Skills in Teaching Process is the Key to Facilitate Creativity and Cooperating Capacity
Non─triviality is an important cybernetic concept that is helpful for understanding human cognitive processes as well as learning processes， and is also a key to understand the origin of human creativity. 4─dimentional system thinking indicates that in order to totally reform a complex system such as China’s education system， efforts of chance must be implemented in all three basic dimensions of the complex system， i.e.， structural procedural， and cultural. The author pointed out that facilitation skills， while having been widely used in organizational development， can be used in the procedural dimension of reforming China’s education system. Specifically， by introducing intensified training on facilitation skills for teachers， teachers would no t only be able to deal with the non─triviality issue in student’s learning process better， but also gain the capacity of fostering cooperative competency of their students. Six─one current facilitation methodologies are introduced to readers， with a highlight on WINTOP facilitation skills based on Technology of Participation.
