公费师范教育是终止1997年以来师范教育收费制度的一项新的国家政策。新政策的实行，具有着鲜明的时代价值和深远的历史意义。体现在：有利于推动建创新型国家伟大目标的实现，兴邦强国；有利于提高教师职业的社会价，落实尊师重教；有利于造就未来的教育家，为教育家的成长奠基。

The State─funded initial teacher education represents a new national policy that has ended the self─supported teacher education system functioned since 1997. The implementation of such a new policy has an obvious epochal value and historic significance. The new policy is beneficial to realize the great goal of building an innovation─oriented country and make our nation powerful. It will highlight teachers’ social value and put into effect respecting teachers and attaching importance to teaching.
