Transition of Views on Children and Teacher Education──Dewey’s Consideration and Our Inspiration

兒童觀的轉變是教師教育的重要內容之一。現代兒童觀的轉變與杜威的研究有重要聯系。杜威從美國社會的變革出發，從歷史和現實的角度分析了兒童被動發展的原因，批評了舊教育對兒童發展的負面影響，提出了培養兒童主動性和創造性的思想，並對教師教育提出了新的要求。杜威的兒童觀和教師教育的觀點對於我們改革教師教育是有意義的。

The transition that views on children is one of the significant substances of teacher education. The transition of the contemporary views on children was associated with Dewey’s research. In the context of social change， Dewey analyzed the reasons of passive development of children from historical and actual angle， and criticized the tradition education’s negative influence on children， and proposed the idea to foster children’s and creativity， and meanwhile Dewey proposed the new requirement to teacher education. Dewey’s views on children and the concept of teacher education is helpful for teacher education reform in China.
