Our reading methods have changed greatly in the Picture Era which is featured by the emergence and boom of digital media. This change and the profound change in social and individual life caused by it bring a series of challenges to the Chinese reading instruction in school in the aspects of concept， orientation， content and method， especially to the students. They have great impact in students' reading orientation， style and interest etc. New reading content and methods require corresponding changes in the aspects of the reading orientation， the developing of the curriculum and teaching materials， the method of reading construction in primary and middle schools.
