目前全世界仍處於疫情肆虐時代，離後疫情時代可能尚遠，整體新冠肺炎疫情仍非常險峻。本文以協助學校維護及促進學生健康與安全為目的，先環視當前世界疫情的黑天鵝狀況，分析COVID-19的病毒特性與傳播途徑，再申論疫情中的學校安全及衛生守則與策略，主要包括防疫基本原則、健康維護知能與病毒防範、倫理規則等。COVID-19是教育史上前所未見的狀況，仍需審慎以對。學校教育的基本功能即在於維護學生身心健康，以促進全人發展為目標，本文所述有頗多值得參考之處。
