Sharing a Successful Model of Youth Global Mobility: The New Colombo Plan in Australia

澳洲政府近年積極推動「新可倫坡計畫」（New Colombo Plan, NCP），其目的不僅為鼓勵澳洲大學生到印度太平洋等亞太區域國家進行短期研習或實習，拓展校際雙邊合作關係，最終目標更在培育澳洲青年學子能放眼亞洲，熟識亞太國家政經發展及社會文化，為澳洲深耕亞洲奠定更有利的基礎。本文簡述澳洲政府「新可倫坡計畫」執行推動情形，並提供臺灣參與歷程及成功案例。文末分析澳洲成功關鍵因素，做為政府提升青年全球移動力等相關政策規劃之參考。

The New Colombo Plan is a signature initiative of the Australian Government to lift knowledge of the Indo-Pacific by supporting Australian undergraduate students to study and undertake internships in the region. It encourages a two-way flow of students between Australia and the rest of Asia region, deepening Australia’s relationships in the region through nurturing youths in the fields of political, economic, culture and society. This article is intended to introduce the New Colombo Plan to our policy makers in the field and how Taiwan can learn from the experience.
