A Research of e-Educology of Foreign Languages in the Past Two Decades —A Visual Analysis Based on CiteSpace
This study reviews literature on ICT in foreign language education by means of bibliometrical method. Software CiteSpace is used to visualize key research areas and problems， cooperation network of authorship and key emerging literature of e-Educology of foreign languages. It is concluded that college English is the major playground of E-educology of foreign languages and that research on ICT in foreign language education has a broad range but lacks depth. The study also finds that there is an empirical turn as far as research method is concerned. Besides， more attention should be paid to cooperative study.
