Construction of General Evaluation Framework for Textbooks Based on Functional-Structural Analysis

In the research of textbook evaluation，the logical continuity of the evaluation framework is an important challenge. The evaluation frameworks established from functional or structural perspectives have their own problems，while the function-structure perspective that links the two aspects closely could help to connect the subject and object of evaluation and improve the stability and practicality of evaluation. Based on a two-dimensional framework of textbook design research，and according to the core issues and compilation process of textbook preparation，a new general textbook evaluation framework (CIR-FS) was established，which contained the three-level ^Function-Structure” analysis of the ^Curriculum-Instruction- Representation” of the textbooks. The entire framework associated the functional analysis with structural analysis of ^factors” and ^links”，which formed a tight expression of the function and structure of text- books. The CIR-FS framework showed better stability and openness in comparison with several similar representative frameworks at home and abroad，and provided an important basis for further development of the textbook evaluation standard system.
