The Development of Modern University in the Context of Global Cooperative Governance

The introduction of“governance”into the field of education has greatly changed the traditional education management. This paper argues that the global cooperative governance has already appeared in the field of higher education，which created an institutional pressure to modern university at the global level. Using literature research， this paper analyzes the multiple actors of global cooperative governance， the loose coupling contents created by the common action of global cooperative governance actors， as well as the impacts on the modern university development.
