英文摘要 | The rise of data science has brought new opportunities and challenges to educational research. In the United States, the Computing Research Association (CRA) held a two-workshop sequence on data-intensive research for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the field. The ideas and insights from these workshops were summarized in a report "Data-Intensive Research in Education: Current Work and Next Steps", which was released in October 2015. Focusing on the first workshop, this paper summarizes insights from relatively mature data -intensive research initiatives in the sciences and engineering, and discusses the opportunities and challenges that could aid in advancing nascent data-intensive research in education. |
