英文摘要 | In the context of 11 public entrepreneurship , people innovation 11 , China needs to learn from international experience to carry out the localized STEM education continuously. In order to measure the development of STEM education , a scientific quality standard is needed. According to the official reports and research articles , The quality standards for STEM education in San Diego County, USA , are based on scientific standards and are refined by the personnel from different fields. This paper analyzed the quality STEM criteria in San Diego in four aspects : the integrity of academic content, STEM climate and culture , the collaboration among schools , community , and industry, connections with college and career readiness based on the four development stages : development, maturity, focus and model. From the systematic perspective, the criteria for quality STEM in San Diego not only reflected the requirements of education itself (the integration of academic content, STEM Climate and Culture) , but also the social support, such as the collaboration among school, community and industry. The quality standards of the STEM education not only focused on its own situation , but also the social support factors , to form a more macro vision to judge its quality. According to the status quo of STEM education in China , the criteria for quality STEM in San Diego can provide the following implications : enhancing the professional development of educators , providing STEM human resources protection ; constructing the cooperation between school , community and industry; improving the quality of STEM education ; carrying out the assessment to improve the quality of education , in accordance with the STEM education development stages; implementing the self-assessment, and finding the plan to promote the STEM education; using a checklist format to promote STEM education quality assessment. The authors hope that this study can provide a reference for the establishment of the STEM quality that meets both international standards and domestic needs. |
